The Winona Family YMCA is committed to supporting the health and wellness needs of our community, and we want to help programs and/or events that strive to do the same. As a charitable organization, the Y gives careful consideration to local non-profit organization requests for membership donations, as we believe in the importance of building a better community in the area where we live.
Funding Guidelines
The organization should be a not-for-profit corporation with a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Applications not having a 501(c)(3) status may still be given consideration. Applications for fundraisers for individuals may not be eligible.
The request must:
- Address a documented community health or wellness issue or
- Benefit area youth in the areas of health and wellness or
- Support a project directly benefiting the Winona Family YMCA service area.
The donation review process may take up to 2 weeks. If approved, only one request per calendar year will be awarded to any given organization.
