Program Overview

LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a free 12-week program designed to support cancer survivors during treatment and beyond. The program focuses on the whole person—mind and body—combining physical activity with a supportive community where participants can build strength, improve overall wellness, and connect with others.

Program Details

Participants meet twice a week for 90-minute, in-person sessions led by trained YMCA staff. The program is designed to help participants:

  • Improve cardiovascular endurance and functional ability
  • Build muscle mass and strength
  • Increase flexibility
  • Support mental and emotional well-being
  • Connect with others affected by cancer
  • Build healthy habits and skills that can support continued wellness

The program is free for participating cancer survivors and includes a complimentary YMCA membership for the duration of the 12-week program.
