Program Overview

Youth soccer at the Winona Family YMCA gives kids opportunities to learn the game, develop skills, and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Programs are available from preschool through 6th grade and emphasize skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and staying active.

Happy Feet (Ages 3-6)

Happy Feet Soccer introduces preschoolers and kindergarteners to the basic skills and vocabulary of soccer through age-appropriate activities and equipment. Participants build confidence while learning about teamwork, sharing, sportsmanship, and having fun being active with others.

Soccer Skills (Grades 1-6)

Soccer Skills helps players develop fundamentals such as passing and dribbling while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Beginners and experienced players are welcome in this supportive program focused on skill development and having fun as part of a team.

  • Time: 6:00–7:00 PM
  • Grades: 1–6

Inclusive Soccer provides a supportive environment where participants of varying physical, social, and cognitive abilities can develop soccer skills such as passing and dribbling while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Beginners and experienced players are welcome, with additional staff and volunteers available to support participants who may benefit from more individualized assistance.
